Rams suffer first loss on pitch

The No. 14 ranked Glenwood girls soccer team suffered its first loss of the season on Friday with a 2-0 setback against Sioux City East.

The Rams (4-1 overall, 3-0 in the Hawkeye 10 Conference) struggled to adjust to the Black Raiders’ offensive scheme in the loss.

“Sioux City East played a formation that we were not used to seeing,” said Glenwood coach Amy Benson.  They did a really good job of using their outside defenders as an extra option on offense.”
