  • Accidents
        Dec. 18 – A vehicle driven by Molly Carr-Gross of Silver City, was slowing to make a left turn onto 11th Street but, due to icy road conditions, was unable to make the turn, causing the driver to continue south on Linn Street. A second vehicle, driven by Jordan Grassau of Glenwood and also traveling south on Linn, was unable to stop quick enough due to the slick road conditions and collided with  Carr-Gross’ vehicle.

        Clayton Andrew Fritz, Glenwood - driving while license is barred (habitual offender), pleaded guilty, sentenced to serve seven days in county jail with credit for time already served, ordered to pay court costs and fees.

        Blake Dean Holland, Glenwood - disorderly conduct, pleaded guilty, ordered to pay $65 fine, court costs and fees.

  • Accidents
        Dec. 12 – A vehicle driven by Baeli Greenwalt of Council Bluffs was northbound on 221st Street when the driver lost control of the vehicle in a curve causing the vehicle to go into a ditch and strike a power pole. No injuries were reported.
