    Accidents
        Oct. 29 – A vehicle driven by Eric Parsons of Council Bluffs was southbound on 221st Street when the vehicle went off to the right and the drive over-corrected causing the vehicle to cross the center line and go off the road, strike a tree and roll over. The driver was transported to Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs.

  •     Winter Warm-up will be held from 12 - 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, in the fellowship hall of Grace Methodist Church, 112 North Walnut, in Glenwood.
        Anyone needing a winter coat, hat, gloves, scarf, blanket, or other winter clothing, is invited to come and select the winter clothing needed - size infant to adult. There is no charge and no identification is required.
