    Wabash Wranglers
        The regular meeting of the Wabash Wranglers was called to order by our president Hannah Sorenson on Sunday, Aug. 12 at the Castle Unicorn.
        There were 15 people present at the meeting and we all discussed what we brought to fair and the results of our fair projects.
        We discussed ideas about recruiting new members into our group by handing our flyers at a home football game of the Glenwood Rams.

    Mills County Prize Winners
        The regular meeting of the Mills County Prize Winners was called to order Aug. 6, 2012, at the Old Tabor Fire Station by Vice President Cassie. Roll call was “Have you started your Record Book yet?” and was answered by nine members. Also both leaders and no guests were present. The secretary’s report was read and approved by Katie Weitzki. The Treasurers report was read and approved by Alyssa Gilbert.

  • Mills County District Court 8/8/12

    Judge James Heckerman
        Jeffery Wayne Davis, Glenwood – O.W.I., pleaded guilty, sentence suspended to two days in county jail, one year probation, ordered to undergo substance abuse evaluation, pay $1,250 fine ($625 waived with proof of driver’s license in four months), court costs and fees.
        Zachary Clay Younts, Tabor – public intoxication, sentenced to two days in county jail with credit given for time served, ordered to pay court costs and fees.
