    Judge Greg Steensland
        Bragun Michaelsen, Pacific Junction - violation of probation on original charges of first-degree theft, second-degree theft and third-degree theft, sentenced to time served, ordered to submit DNA, pay $3,500 civil penalties, court costs and fees.

  • Glenwood summer food program 7.9.14

        The Summer Food Service Program is sponsored by the Glenwood Community School District and is free to all children ages 18 and under. The program will run through July 25 at the following locations and times:
        Glenwood Middle School, 400 Sivers Road. Breakfast 8 - 9 a.m., lunch 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
        Kid’s Place Daycare, 103 Central, first floor at the Glenwood Resource Center campus. Breakfast 8 – 8:30 a.m., lunch 11 - 11:45 a.m. Limited seating is available.

    Open Mon. - Fri. 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Sat. 8 - 11 a.m.

    Exercise Classes (6 weeks): Tuesday and Thursday, 10 - 11 a.m.

    Coffee Time: Mon. - Fri. 8 - 11:30 a.m. and 1 - 4 p.m.; Sat.; 8 - 11 a.m.;
    Ladies’ Coffee: Mon. 10 - 11 a.m.
    Cards, Table Games and Dominoes: Mon. - Fri.

        Brent Harley Crawley, Glenwood – possession of drug paraphernalia, pleaded guilty, ordered to pay $100 fine, court costs and fees.
        Donald Dale Elliott, Glenwood – O.W.I. (second offense), pleaded guilty, sentenced to seven days in county jail with credit for time already served, driver’s license revoked for one year, ordered to pay $1,875 fine, court costs and fees.

  • Glenwood Police Reports 6/18/14

    Accidents
        May 30 - A garbage can fell off a garbage truck on westbound Highway 34 and lodged in the bumper of a second westbound vehicle driven by Kim Clark of Glenwood.

        June 6 – A vehicle driven by Lisa Boone of Omaha was attempting to pull into a parking stall when a second vehicle, driven by Jeff McKinney of Glenwood, approaching from behind, failed to notice and struck the rear of Boone’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.
