The Omaha Community Playhouse will produce “Next to Normal,” the 2010 Pulitzer Prize winner for drama, Feb. 7 – March 16.
“Next to Normal,” by Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey, is a rock musical and raw account of a family dealing with mental illness, tragedy and the realities of modern society. The plot centers on an overly mediated mother trying to cope with bipolar disorder as her family struggles to maintain normalcy in their suburban home.
