    Accidents
        March 6 – A school bus driven by Brian Pavelka of Glenwood was attempting to back to the curb at the circle drive at Glenwood Community High School when the bus struck a legally parked vehicle. No injuries were reported.

    Lyle Mayberry
        Blake Dean Holland, Glenwood - possession of drug paraphernalia, pleaded guilty, ordered to pay $65 fine, court costs and fees.

    Judge Jeffrey L. Larson
        Nicholas Kane Hunter, Glenwood – O.W.I., pleaded guilty, sentenced to two days in county jail with credit for time served, completed Urban Dreams program, ordered to pay $1,250 fine, court costs and fees.

  • Mills County Sheriff Reports 3/11/15

    Accident
        March 6 – A vehicle driven by Chad Booton of Council Bluff was slowing to turn south off eastbound Highway 34 when a second eastbound vehicle driven by Autumn Avis of Glenwood rear ended Booton’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.

        Joshua Robert Saunders, Omaha – driving while license is barred (habitual offender), pleaded guilty, sentenced to 12 days in county jail with credit for time served, ordered to pay court costs and fees.
        Devin Brandon Jackson, Mineola – possession of a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, sentenced to time served in county jail, driver’s license suspended for 180 days, ordered to pay court costs and fees.

        Merlin Glenn Lininger, Clarinda – driving while license is barred (habitual offender), pleaded guilty, sentenced to time served (credit for 14 days served in Mills, Page and Sarpy counties), ordered to pay court costs and fees.
        Earl Eugene Gordon, Malvern – assault causing bodily injury or mental illness, pleaded guilty, sentenced suspended to serve 302 days in county jail with credit for time already served, one year probation, ordered to pay court costs and fees.

        Feb. 1 – A vehicle driven by Joshua Antonides of Nebraska City, was found rolled over in the southbound lane of Interstate 29. No injuries were reported.
