Accidents

    March 28 – A vehicle driven by Jaelin Stanton of Glenwood was attempting to back out of a driveway on Sharp Street when a vehicle driven by Michael Ruby of Malvern, who was delivering mail along Sharp Street, struck Stanton’s vehicle.
    April 1 – A vehicle driven by Charles Caley of Glenwood failed to yield at a stop sign on eastbound Tyson Street and collided with a southbound vehicle driven by Cynthia Bell of Sidney, on South Locust Street, .

    Scott Wesley Rosenburg, Council Bluffs – O.W.I. (2nd offense), pleaded guilty, sentenced to seven days in county jail with credit for time previously served, ordered to pay $1,875 fine, court costs and fees.
    Tevis Neal Langel, Glenwood – O.W.I., pleaded guilty, sentence suspended to two days in county jail, one year probation, ordered to pay $1,250 fine, court costs and fees.
