        Jonathan James Pleake, Council Bluffs – found to be in violation of probation on original charge of fourth-degree criminal mischief, ordered to carry out balance of 17-day sentence with credit given for time already served.
        Vernon Brent, Sr., Glenwood – defendant found in contempt of court, probation terminated, ordered to serve 60 days in county jail with credit given for time already served.

    Mills County Prize Winners
        The regular meeting of the Mills County Prize Winners was called to order Aug. 6, 2012, at the Old Tabor Fire Station by Vice President Cassie. Roll call was “Have you started your Record Book yet?” and was answered by nine members. Also both leaders and no guests were present. The secretary’s report was read and approved by Katie Weitzki. The Treasurers report was read and approved by Alyssa Gilbert.
