Oct. 2 – A motorcycle driven by David Long of Shenandoah was eastbound on Noyes Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. The driver was transported to Creighton Medical Center by Malvern Rescue. His status was unknown at press time.

Oct. 1 – A vehicle driven by Cullen Wake of Glenwood was stopped due to turning traffic on Sharp Street when his vehicle was rear-ended by a second vehicle, driven by Destiny Killin of Glenwood.

Kale Garrett Hardman, Malvern – operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, pleaded guilty, sentenced to 60 days in county jail with credit for time already served, pay $625 fine, court costs and fees.
Derek Michael Dodge, Corning – O.W.I., pleaded guilty, deferred judgment, one year probation, ordered to pay $1,250 fine, court costs and fees.

Sept. 18 – A vehicle driven by Brigham Timm of Malvern proceeded through a yield sign on Marion Avenue and collided with a second vehicle driven by Brandy Welch of Hastings, who was westbound on East Fourth Street. Minor injuries were reported at the scene but no one was transported to the hospital.
