  • Glenwood’s Giving Garden receives funds

    The Mills County Board of Supervisors voted to allot $1,500 from the Community Betterment Local Option Sales Tax Fund in support of Glenwood’s Giving Garden.   The funds will allow for an irrigation system to be installed at the garden site. The organizers of the garden would like to express their appreciation to the Board of Supervisors for this generous gift, which will greatly enhance the operation of the garden.

        Donald J. Lang, Tabor – O.W.I., pleaded guilty, deferred judgment, one year probation, ordered to undergo substance abuse evaluation, submit DNA sample, pay victim restitution, $1,250 civil penalty (reduced to $625 with proof of driver's license), court costs and fees.

  • Lutheran Pastor Retiring

        Over the past four decades, he’s  spent 11 years as a parochial school teacher and 30 years as a pastor.
        Robert Lindau, who is formally retiring this week as pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenwood, has served his church well over the past four decades and is ready to move on to the next chapter of his life.
