Merlin Glenn Lininger, Clarinda – driving while license is barred (habitual offender), pleaded guilty, sentenced to time served (credit for 14 days served in Mills, Page and Sarpy counties), ordered to pay court costs and fees.
Earl Eugene Gordon, Malvern – assault causing bodily injury or mental illness, pleaded guilty, sentenced suspended to serve 302 days in county jail with credit for time already served, one year probation, ordered to pay court costs and fees.
Jan. 17 – Suzan Reeve of Glenwood reported a violation of a no-contact order.
Jan. 27 – The Western Inn of Glenwood reported a burglary.
Jan. 30 – Newman’s Thriftway of Glenwood reported a burglary, theft and criminal mischief.
Jan. 28 – Kristin Stiles of Plattsmouth reported a serious assault.
Jan. 17 – Randi Mower of Glenwood reported a theft.
Jan. 17 – A vehicle driven by James Nausler of Omaha was found abandoned in a ditch off of Deacon Road. When emergency personnel arrived Nausler returned and told officers he had injured his hand with a chainsaw and was driving himself to the hospital when he passed out and the vehicle ended up in the ditch. The driver was transported to the hospital. His condition was not known at press time.
Joseph Alan Sullivan, Council Bluffs – pleaded guilty to contempt of court (original charge of third-degree theft), sentenced to serve time in Mills County Jail with credit for time served, ordered to pay court costs and fees.
Wesley Thomas Yanna, Glenwood – driving while barred (habitual offender), pleaded guilty, sentenced to serve time in county jail, ordered to pay court costs and fees.
Jan. 17 – Shad Cooper of Rienzi, Miss., reported a theft.
Jan. 17 – Ronald Sargent of Pacific Junction, reported a theft and criminal trespassing.
Jan. 17 – John Fraissinet of Pacific Junction, reported a burglary.
