Colby Jennings ran for four touchdowns and Austin Sommerla threw a touchdown pass for the East Mills football team in a 42-0 victory over Clarinda Academy on Friday.
“We really played much better,” said East Mills coach Andy Irwin, a week after the Wolverines’ offense struggled in a 10-7 season-opening loss to Shenandoah. “The effort was there. We did a good job in blocking assignments, and guys who we had to sort of move around the fly last week due to injuries were more in position.”
