The East Mills girls sprinted out to a 30-0 first-quarter lead and never looked back in a 70-18 Corner Conference victory over Clarinda Academy on Friday.
The Wolverines (2-14 overall, 1-7 in the conference) shot a season-best 58.5 percent from the field (31-of-53) and a held a 27-18 rebounding edge over the Eagles. East Mills also had just five turnovers compared to the Eagles 29.
