The nuptials were officiated by the Rev. Kiboko Kiboko. A reception followed at the Blank Golf Course in Des Moines.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Deanne Mulholland of Malvern and granddaughter of Don and Suzanne Simmons of Thurman, and Nancy Mulholland of Glenwood.
The groom is the son of Don and Val DeGroote of New Hartford and the grandson of Clara DeGroote of Parkersburg and Marian Bundy of Cedar Falls.
The man of honor was Derrick Hatfield. Bridesmaids were Rachel Orris, Megan Wilshusen, Lindsey Tippery, and Kobey Swarts. The flower girl was Gentry Swarts.
The best man was Corey Gumm. Groomsmen were Adam Gerleman, Mike Maass, Aric Reicks, and Brad Swarts. Ushers were Travis Stout and David Kistenmacher.
The ring bearer was Aras Mulholland. Muir Mulholland was the reader and Mike Shelledy was the soloist.
The newlyweds traveled to Negril, Jamaica, for their honeymoon. Amanda is employed as a Spanish teacher in Waukee. Andrew is employed by Fareway as an assistant manager in Norwalk.
The couple resides in Norwalk.
