Republican candidates Ron Kohn and Lonnie Mayberry will be challenged by a third candidate, Jack May, in the November general election for two seats on the county board of supervisors.
Mayberry and Kohn advanced to the general election by finishing 1-2 respectively in the June Republican primary election. May will be listed on the ballot as a candidate nominated by petition.
Glenwood residents will have two candidates to choose from for an at-large seat on the city council. Stephen Fornoff, who was appointed by the city council to the seat vacated by Clare Bangs earlier this summer, will be challenged in the general election by Jeremy Wade Rodman. Rodman had expressed interest serving on the council at the time the vacancy was being filled.
The Nov. 6 general election will include several federal, state and county races.
