Voters in the Glenwood Community School District now have a field of eight candidates to choose from in next Tuesday’s school board election.
The top three vote-getters will be elected to serve a four-year term on the district’s five-member board of education. Seven of the candidates have their name on the ballot – Bill Agan, Dave Blum, Henry Clark, Tim Harms, Edward Lund, Rex A. Ruth and Dave Warren. The eighth candidate, Cheryll Ross, announced last week that she is running a write-in campaign. Voters will be allowed to vote for up to three of the candidates.
Tuesday’s voting in the Glenwood Community School District will take place from noon to 8 p.m. at the Glenwood American Legion Hall.
Profiles of the eight candidates along with their answers to a series of questions concerning the school district can be found inside the Sept. 2 edition of The Opinion-Tribune.
