The Glenwood baseball team went 2-0 and outscored its opponents 20-1 at the Omaha South Invitational at Omaha's Brown Park over the weekend.
Glenwood (23-6 overall, 15-1 in the Hawkeye 10 Conference) knocked off the host Packers 10-1 and came back on Saturday to defeat Bennington, Neb. 10-0 in five innings.
In game one, Matt Schulz (3-1) tossed a four hit gem, striking out nine and allowing one earned run.
In the tournament capper, Alec Forbes earned the victory pitching four scoreless innings and striking out eight in four innings of work.
Bryan Harless had four hits and drove in three runs in the two games.
Trent Jameson and Kyle Wheeler each added three hits.
Taylor Kaufman allowed one hit in a 13-0 Glenwood victory over Creston in Hawkeye 10 Conference baseball on Thursday.
Kaufman struck out 10 and faced one over the minimum in improving to 7-0 on the season. Kaufman also drove in two runs and scored twice.
Bryan Harless and Kyle Wheeler had two hits each.

Kaufman led the Rams with three hits, two doubles and a home run. He also drove in two runs and stole two bases.
Harless was 2-for-3 with four RBIs.
