Rams sweep Panthers

The Glenwood volleybally team earned a 25-20, 25-21, 25-23 sweep victory over Creston in Hawkeye 10 Conference play on Thursday.

The Rams improved to 9-13 overall and 2-5 in the conference with the win.

“We played very well tonight,” said Glenwood coach Kara Huisman. “This has been a tough week of practice and I am so proud of the way all of our girls responded. This was a complete team win and the girls deserve it.

Morgan Lucy led the Rams with 12 kills and five aces.

Chelsea Konfrst had seven kills and Cassie Stewart had five.

Erika Schwanke finished with 15 assist and eight digs. Kenna Henze added seven assists and five digs.

Ana VanScoy had 19 digs and four aces and Katie Larsen had 10 digs.

The Glenwood freshmen and junior varsity both won their matches to sweep the Panthers.
