The Glenwood girls basketball team avenged a seven-point loss in last year’s season opener with a 69-42 victory over Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson last Tuesday. The Rams (1-0) dominated from the opening tip, not allowing a Yellowjacket field goal until just 1:31 remained in the opening quarter. “I really think we did a lot of good things for a first game,” said Glenwood coach Leon Portrey.
