Molly Bryan threw her first career no hitter and smacked a first inning homerun as the Glenwood softball team downed Council Bluffs St. Albert 10-0 in a five inning win.
Bryan, a freshman, struck out eight and did not walk a batter in the win. She was also 3-for-3 at the plate with five RBIs.
Nicole Charland added a double and a homerun and drove in two runs.
“This is the hitting I’ve been waiting for,” said Glenwood coach Tim Stanton. “We’d been hitting good these last few games but our power really showed up this game.”
