The Glenwood volleyball team dropped a five-game decision to Council Bluffs St. Albert 17-25, 24-26, 25-21, 25-23, 6-15 on Thursday.
“Games two, three and four were played at a very high level and a great tempo for us,” said Glenwood coach Kara Huisman. “It was one of our best defensive matches of the year. We just didn’t do what we needed to do offensively in game 5. This is a tough loss but we got better tonight."
Morgan Lucy led the Rams with 13 kills and nine blocks. Grace Newman added nine blocks and 11 digs.
Megan McKern and Shelby Brewster pitched in with eight and six kills, apiece, respectively.
Abby Schultz had 32 digs.
McKenna Henze had 24 set assists, 13 digs and served 23-for-24 with two aces.
Glenwood is 13-12 on the year and 4-4 in the Hawkeye 10 Conference.
