Rams crowned at Cardinal Relays

The Glenwood boys track team won five gold medals and the team title at the Cardinal Relays Friday.

Glenwood’s 118 team points bested runner-up Harlan’s 88 points.

Josh Lee had a strong day for the Rams in the sprints, winning gold in the 100-meters and a silver in the 200-meter dash.

Dane Kruse added an individual gold in the 110-meter high hurdles.

The Rams’ shuttle hurdle, distance medley and 4x200-meter relay teams also earned gold medals.

Rams win Relays
The Glenwood boys racked up seven gold medals and the team title at their own Ram Relays Tuesday.

Glenwood’s 163 team points were 80 points better than second place Council Bluffs Lewis Central.

The Rams continued its strong start to the season in their relays with gold medals in the shuttle hurdle, 4x100-meters, 4x200-meters, 4x400-meters and distance medley relays.

Glenwood added individual gold medals by James Fuller (400-meters), Dane Kruse (110-meter high hurdles).
In all, Glenwood placed first,  second or third in 13 of 18 events.
