The Mills County Sure Shots sold sweet corn over the weekend to help raise money for their annual Deer Project. The money raised will be used to pay for the processing of deer harvested this coming winter. The meat is then donated to the Mills County Storehouse to be given to the needy. It’s a great way to help provide meat for the needy. With food prices soaring, it offers a great alternative to beef. Also, it’s an opportunity to get others involved to help out by “Hunting for Hunger” and making a difference.
