Mills County Prize Winners
    The regular meeting of the Mills County Prize Winners was called to order April 21, 2012, at the Old Tabor Fire Station by President Kassidy Monday. Roll call was “Do you have your Animal ID’s in?’ and was answered by 12 members. Also both leaders and no guests were present. The Secretary’s Report was read and approved by Katie Weitzki. The Treasurer’s Report was also read by Andrea McClary.
    For Old Business: FSQA Training make-up class is April 6 at 9 a.m at the Malvern Extension Office. All livestock ID’s are due May 15. March 16 overnight by County Council. Another Horse Project orientation meeting will be March 27 at the Malvern Extension Office at 6:30 p.m.
    New Business included: Horse Practice begins on May 8 at 7 p.m and will be held at the Mills County Fairgrounds horse arena. Dog Practice begins on May 3 at 7 p.m and will be held at the Mills County Fairgrounds Block Building. Fair clean up changes- family oriented pre-fair clean up and Anything Goes Event on Wednesday July 18. Food provided at 6 p.m, clean up from 6:30-7:30 and Anything Goes until 9 p.m.
    Announcements were read by Ashley McClary. A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by First Lathon Sutton and Seconded by Nolan Hanson. There were no presentations given this week. Refreshments were served by Kassidy Monday following the meeting. The next meeting will be held May 5, 2012, at 6 p.m at the Old Tabor Fire Station.
