Knights third at Cardette Relays

The Fremont-Mills girls track team placed third at the Cardette Relays in Treynor last Tuesday.

The host Cardettes won the meet, racking up 100 team points to runner-up Woodbine’s 80. The Knights finished with 72 points.

Fremont-Mills got gold medals from Kelsey Hurley in the 100-meters, 200-meters and the high jump.

Taryn Williams added a gold in the 100-meter hurdles and a silver in long jump.

The Knights’s shuttle hurdle relay team also posted a top time of 1:11.84 to win gold.
