The Fremont-Mills boys and the East Mills girls won first place at the Stanton Co-Ed Track Meet last Tuesday.
The Knights rolled up 185 team points to the host Vikings’ 106.3 second place points.
Fremont-Mills got first place medals from Joey Griener in the 800-meters, Brandon Herrick in the high jump, Dylan Miller in the discus and the 200-meters, Tym Wood in the 1,600-meters and from its 4x800-meter, 4x200-meter and 4x400-meter relay teams.
The East Mills girls earned six gold medals at the meet - behind the dual gold wins by Shelby Sommerla in both the 3,000 and 1,500-meter - to score 158 points.
Fremont-Mills was second with 110 points.
The Wolverines added top finishes from Amy Walker in the 100-meters and from its 4x800-meter, 4x200-meter and 4x100-meter relay teams.
The Fremont-Mills girls got a gold medal from Brandi Menicucci in the discus, and a second place finish in the 4x800 and 4x100-meter relays.
The East Mills boys placed fifth at the meet behind an first place performance from its 4x100-meter relay team. Jake Doyle added a second place finish in the 1,600-meters and Nathan Day was third in the 400.
