TABOR - The Fremont-Mills football team turned the ball over four times and could muster just 47 yards of total offense in a 48-0 loss to Treynor in Class A, District 8 football Friday.
“We talk all the time, if we don't turn the ball over we have a chance to win ball games. It's been our M.O. all season, we've turned it over way too many times,” said Fremont-Mills coach Jeremy Christensen.
Treynor (7-1 overall, 5-1 in the district) turned two of the Knights' four turnovers into first-half touchdowns and allowed just nine yards rushing on 22 carries.
