We hope you are enjoying the spring weather. The spring flowers and magnolia trees are so pretty.
Little Evan, infant son of Nicole and Mark Stephens, was honored with a shower on Saturday afternoon at the Slump home. Hostesses were Neva Slump, Judy Magers, Vicky Putnam and Maxine Brandt.
Neva’s granddaughter, Tricia, led us through a game about nursery rhymes. Nicole then opened the many gifts for Evan, assisted by his little brother, Aaron, and Aunt Lynn. He will be a well-outfitted little guy. Later the hostesses served delicious refreshments of sandwiches, dessert, other goodies, punch and coffee. It was a fun afternoon. Among family guests were Grandma Ladonna Stephens and other relatives, Barb Stille and Cheryl Stephens, both of Malvern.
Among those who attended the Sunday breakfast at the Indian Creek Museum were Ken and Mary Lauridsen, De Laine, Neva and Merrill Slump, Bill and Sheila Loyd and family, Vicky, Troy and Todd Putnam, Wes Harrill, Carl and Maxine Brandt and Don and Ruby Godfrey.
Randy and Tonya Wilkinson of Aurelia were Sunday evening callers of Ruby Wilkinson.
Linda Olsen, Deb and Wanda Williams had supper on Friday night at the Classic Café in Malvern.
Don and Ruby Godfrey enjoyed the hamball dinner at the Silver City United Methodist Church on Sunday.
