Glenwood harriers place seventh at Pella Invitational

The Glenwood boys cross country team placed seventh at the Pella Invitational Cross County Meet on Saturday.

Iowa City West was the team champion with all five of their runners placed in the top 11 for a total of 31 points to easily out-pace second place Pella’s 68 points.
Thomas Pollard of Gilbert ran away with the individual title with a time of 16:13.

The Rams placed seventh with 200 points and were led by Cuentin Gray’s 29th place finish overall with a time of 19:04. Ross Van Slyke was 34th, Baker Cambridge was 40th, Giles Allan was 48th and Daniel Leu was 49th.  

The Glenwood junior varsity boys ran at the Council Bluffs Invitational on Saturday at Iowa Western Community College. invite at IWCC where freshman Jeff Cooper placed 11th.

The Rams’ Jackson Hein was 13th, Matt Malcom 15th, Nick Maestas, 17th and Damen Harrill 22nd.
