Glenwood girls blank Denison, 4-0 on road

    The Glenwood girls soccer team went on the road last Tuesday and earned its second win of the season with a 4-0 victory over Denison.

    The game was deadlocked at 0-0 until the 36th minute when Haley Johnson tucked a goal into the left of an assist by Kenzie Evans.
    The Rams went on to punch in three more goals, all by Michaela Moore.
    Mallory Hoyt and Gretchen Dehn each added assists.
    Sierra Edwards earned her second shutout to open the season. 
    The Ram junior varsity team got the evening off to a good start against the Monarchs with a 3-0 win.
    Sydney Stivers cranked in an unassisted long shot to put the Rams on the board. Jordan Hanshaw added a goal and Maddee Sell put a header in the net.
