ENGAGEMENT - Lana Baker/Ben Wayman
Lana Baker and Ben Wayman have announced their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of James Baker of Papillion, Neb., and Deanne Wallfred of Yuba City, Calif. She’s a 2002 graduate of Bellevue East High School and a 2006 graduate of Northwest Missouri State University with a B.S. in elementary education. She’s a teacher at Highland Elementary School in Omaha.
Her fiance is the son of Irvan and Beth Wayman of Glenwood. He’s a 2000 graduate of Glenwood Community High School and is employed at Miller Electric in Omaha as a union journeyman electrician.
An Oct. 24, 2009, wedding is scheduled at Grace United Methodist Church.
