TREYNOR — A flurry of runs late by Treynor ended East Mills’ baseball season with a 14-2 loss in five innings Thursday night in the Class 1A, District 16 semifinals at Treynor High School.
Treynor scored 10 runs in the last two innings, including six in the fifth, to win the game via the 10-run rule.
“They’re a good team,” East Mills Coach Cole Buchholz said after the game. “They hit the ball one through nine and everybody can hit.”
