For the second straight year, the Glenwood Community School District has failed to pass an Instructional Support Levy.
On Tuesday, school district voters rejected the levy by a margin of 58 percent to 42 percent - 994 "No" votes to 717 "Yes" votes.
Voter turnout was nearly twice as large as last year when the special election ended in a 434-434 tie, denying passage by just a single vote.
The 10-year ISL would’ve provided the school district with more than $800,000 in additional revenue. Funding would have come from a combination of income and property taxes.
